Take your career in an upward direction with a long-term contract at an innovative global bank as a Senior Web Developer / Angular Developerin New York City, NY.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop the flagship platform.
  • Work directly with end users on requirements analysis and capture.
  • Troubleshoot challenging performance and scalability issues.
  • Liaise with the global business, support, and development teams.
  • Assist in third line support during core trading hours.
  • Enhance automated testing efforts and optimize UAT process.
  • Utilize the latest and greatest web technologies.
  • Develop efficient and robust solutions to challenging business problems.
  • Work on a globally distributed team to deliver the next generation UI experience for traders at the company.
  • Gain knowledge and exposure to front office trading systems, fixed income, and derivatives flows.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in developing large-scale enterprise web applications.
  • Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
  • Experience building single page applications using HTML 5, Angular 8.0+, TypeScript, CSS3, SAAS, LESS and third-party JavaScript framework libraries.
  • Experience with C#/.NET and object-oriented programming.
  • Experience with RxJS and/or RX extensions (.NET) and NgRx.
  • Experience with writing unit tests for Angular/Typescript (e.g., JEST, Jasmine, Karma, etc.) and C#/.NET (NUnit/MS Test/SpecFlow, etc.).
  • Experience with building cross-platform applications using Web technologies such as Electron, Chromium, and Node.js etc.
  • Experience with consuming JSON/XML based data from REST services and/or real-time streaming data.
  • Experience with tools such as Visual Studio Code, npm, NuGet, Artifactory.
  • Experience with modern software development practices such as Agile development, test-driven development, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CICD) as it pertains to enterprise web applications.
  • Experience developing large financial software trading systems.
  • Knowledge of any interest rates or futures financial products (e.g., treasuries/swaps).
  • Experience with web-based data visualization utilizing JavaScript charting libraries.
  • Experience with KDB/q databases.
  • Experience in full lifecycle development.
