Position:  Program Manager with Divesture experience 
Location: S
aint Louis, MO, Minneapolis, MN, 
Term: 6 months with potential to go to 18 months

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Work as an advisor to more experienced leadership to influence technology matters to develop programs that are effective and efficient for highly complex business and technical needs across one or more lines of business.
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in depth evaluation across multiple lines of business or the enterprise.
  • Deliver solutions that are long term, large scale, and which require understanding of organizational goals or priorities and technology to develop executable strategies and plans.
  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise to more experienced leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions related to technology matters that are large scale, cross functional, or companywide.
  • Engage with the technology team and more experienced leaders to provide support and drive strategic initiatives for the business and for execution of operational processes
  • Responsible for the overall delivery of all the technology components/aspects of a divestiture, merger, or acquisition
  • Assertive leader, effective in setting expectations and holding partners accountable
  • Ability to influence and negotiate for various problem-solving situations
  • Process mindset with focus on building/enhancing processes with continuous process improvement
  • Effective in Matrix organization model with ability to delegate and hold people accountable
  • Maintain a holistic view of activities across the program and ensure that issues are proactively identified, addressed appropriately, measured, and escalated
  • Ability to synthesize complex analytical findings into executive level communications

Is this a good fit? (Requirements):
  • 7+ years of Information Technology in support of Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • 7+ years of technology experience
  • 7 + years of experience leading and executing complex technology transformational programs across an enterprise
Desired Qualifications: 
  • Experience managing large technology development efforts within a major line of business
  • Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management
  • Experience with a Top-3 consulting company
  • Experience leading large mergers, acquisitions and divestures
  • Process optimization and Six Sigma preferred
  • 2+ years of information security experience
  • 2+ years of information technology experience
  • 6+ years of banking industry experience
  • 6+ years of financial services industry experience
