Our client located in Vance, AL is searching for several senior level Project Managers/Integration Managers for a long term contract. In this role, you will provide support for internal customers in the implementation or enhancement of IT solutions for business processes and the launch of a new offering. 

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Providing leadership and support for projects, applications, and related services and they are transitioned into operations.
  • Capture feedback on rollout and share with the team.
  •  Meet with users and translate their needs to the developers.
  • Effectively manage the Operating Model relationship to the internal customer.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective on-going communication.
  • Managing requests for new Services.
  • Analyzing and improving their business processes using Company Solutions and related tools.
  • Work with business departments, local and global applications teams to analyze and optimize business processes, as well as identify weaknesses in the existing systems, processes and procedures and provide solutions in line with regional and global ITM standards.
  • Ensure that documentation relating to business processes and supporting software is accurate and complete and maintained on central IT document management system.
  • Coordinate with CoC and local application teams enhancements and bug fixes regarding the configuration and validation of applications.
  • Ensure that all demands are coordinated through the request management process working closely with the respective IT organization (e.g. Business Consultant, Service Delivery, Project Manager) to define the high-level design and estimation and tracking the status of the request.
  • Serve as facilitator between Business and IT working networked (cross-divisional), identifying and utilizing synergies across IT Organization.
  • contribute to the development of a solution design that meets business requirements.
  • Participate in the delivery and implementation of solutions for Business units.
  • Work with business departments, local and global applications teams to analyze and optimize business processes, as well as identify weaknesses in the existing systems, processes and procedures and provide solutions in line with regional and global ITM standards.
  • Ensure that documentation relating to business processes and supporting software is accurate and complete and maintained on central IT document management system. 
  • Coordinate with application teams enhancements and bug fixes regarding the configuration and validation of applications.
  • Testing, Training, and Rollout Coordination
  • Coordinate and participate in development of structured walk-throughs (system demonstrations and training) to the users.
  • Coordinate the development and facilitation of training material for end users and technical support.
  • Create application documentation in applicable systems and work instructions for operational sustainability. 

Qualifications:  

  • Four-year college diploma or university degree in software engineering, computer science, Operations Management, Business Management or related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum 6 years of experience in the functional area (i.e. Plant/Facilities, Maintenance and Engineering, Indirect Inventory, and Asset/Equipment Management). 
  • One of the three (3) years should contain experience supporting business processes in the functional area either within the business or information technology functions. 
  • Strong computer systems skills.
  • Well-developed analytical skills and sound business judgment.
  • Ability to think strategically and establish direction.
  • Team player with ability to resolve issues both business and technical.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt and adjust to changing schedules to meet project requirements and milestones.
  • Strong familiarity with project management software, such as MS Project, Clarity, etc.
  • Technically competent with various software programs, such as MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Demonstrated strong Project Management experience.

Preferred Skills:  

  • Bilingual English and German.
  • PMP Certification.
  • Experience in an Automotive Manufacturing Environment in the role of Engineering or Maintenance Support, Non-productive Materials Management, or Facilities Management
  • Expertise in AGILE / SCRUM / KANBAN.
