Long term contract Opportunity!

Position:  Senior Oracle BSA
Location: Remote
Term: 6 Months Contract


Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
 
  • Provide detailed system requirements to adopt the new MDM data model for integration in Oracle(EBS).
  • Collaborate with the Technical lead, project managers and project sponsors to determine project scope
  • Collaborate with development resources to ensure requirements are accurately implemented.
  • Work with business partners to discover and document business requirements and confirm/enhance business needs
  • Identify gaps and provide technical expertise in business requirements for system functional specifications and scale new and current systems, processes, and procedures in a cost effective manner.
  • Assist in conducting research on software and hardware products to meet requirements.
  • Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving these systems.
  • Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team.
  • Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements to project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood.
  • Plan and execute unit, integration, and acceptance testing to meet business requirements.
  • Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems.
  • Work closely with senior management, partners, clients and technical team.
  • More Technical:
  • Analyze complex business problems and how they might be solved with technology.
  • Configure system settings and options
  • Meet with stakeholders to define systems goals, and identify and resolve system issues.
  • Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications.
  • Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems, and other post-implementation support.

Is this a good fit? (Requirements):
 
  • Formal Education & Certification
  • More than 6 years working as business analyst in full project management lifecycle for software/maintenance/development/ implementation project
  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in a related field
  • Knowledge & Experience
  • Able to understand business functionality and translate it into functional requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in writing business requirements and test specifications
  • Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into operational and project requirements
  • Intellectual curiosity and the ability to challenge thought partners across functional areas to better understand their needs
  • Demonstrated ability to apply past experience to figure out and understand where and how a change may impact downstream systems, users, or business processes.
  • Experience defining and maintaining strategies and business and technical roadmaps
  • Ability to apply modern techniques like design thinking and storytelling to help create alignment and a sense of urgency across the enterprise for the desired future-state
  • Outstanding written and verbal presentation skills; ability to focus discussions and guide decisions
  • Solid problem-solving skills and ability to come up with solutions to an organization’s problems.
  • Ability to analyze large amounts of data and other business processes to form ideas and fix problems
  • Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.
  • Extensive experience with core software applications, including data transformation and integration..
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
