Senior Java/Microservices/.NET Software Engineer

This international industry leader has an immediate 6 month contract-to-hire opportunity in Fort Worth, TX for a Senior Java/Microservices/.NET Software Engineer.  The Java and Microservices experience must be current.  Can work remotely from home coming into the Ft. Worth office at least 1 day per week. Will join a software engineering team to develop systems and technologies to deliver future national security solutions.  Will design, implement, and integrate with large-scale software components into a multi-threaded architecture using the latest technologies. They will be expected to become a subject matter expert of several components. The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced multi-discipline team across several locations.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years relevant, recent hands-on software development experience using C#, .NET, Java, and Microservices.  The successful candidate will have technical responsibility for solutions being developed and be an innovator.  

  • BS in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science
  • 3-5+ years of C#/.NET Development experience.
  • 3+ years of current Java, JSON, and Microservices experience.
  • Experience with Microservice architecture: SaaS, RESTFul API
  • Client-Server, multi-threaded, IPC application development 
  • Experience with Windows OS Debugger.
  • Experience with large scale web applications using microservices architecture in a Linux environment.
  • Prefer experience with MongoDB or SQL Server.
  • Prefer experience with Container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes 
  • This position requires travel not to exceed 20%.
