Terrific 12+ month contract opportunity in Tampa, FL. Will be responsible for coordinating and helping to execute on the day-to-day technical work needed to define, design and develop the organization’s platform. Would need to be extremely knowledge and hands-on in business, global margin and technology.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
•   Understanding the business area and user requirements.
•   Study and understand the existing programs.
•   Performing program design, coding and Development.
•   Performing unit and integration testing.
•   Producing documentation based on the company's standards.
•   Evaluation and Recommendation for new technologies and updating versions of existing ones.
•   Design reusable frameworks.
•   Environment management and layout design.
•   Continuous Integrations Building/maintaining.

Qualifications:
•   4+ years of Java programming, version Java7/8 or higher, within an enterprise environment
•   Hands on experience with Data Structures and Algorithms.
•   4+ years of scripting experience, UNIX/Linux.
•   4+ years’ experience with relational databases, Oracle is preferred.
•   Hands on experience in Apache Kafka, Hive, or Flume.
•   Agile experience is required.
•   Excellent communication.

Preferred:
•   Enterprise financial services/banking.
