Senior Director of Product of Listener Experience

This nationwide leading audio entertainment company has an immediate full-time opening for a Senior Director of Product, Listener Experience.  Preference is for candidates located near Oakland, CA but open to remote candidates or people near offices located in New York City, Oakland, Atlanta, or Dallas.  This position will be reporting to the SVP of Listener Product and UX Design. Seeking a unique and inspirational leader with demonstrated ability to make a substantial positive impact on Listener Experience across all platforms. Will be responsible for driving the product strategy for all facets of Listener Experience with the business, engineering and design leaders and collaborating with the executive team to identify and define economic impacts of a continually evolving and growing listener base.

The Sr. Director of Product Management for Listener Experience will lead a team of product management experts in innovating, growing, developing and operating the listening experience across all platforms and locations.

Responsibilities:

Guide all product management roadmaps that comprise the end Listener Experience.
Drive innovation in listener experience while operating simplest, best user experience for the largest streaming music service in the United States/
Deliver insightful product recommendations to business leaders and the executive team in a persuasive and thoughtful manner.
Build strong working relationships with engineering, design and business organizations to enable cross functional collaboration.
Operationalize innovation practices that proactively incubate and test breakthrough ideas in user experience for streaming music.
Manage team of product management experts to drive high performance and an engaged, collaborative employee experience.
Build consensus and effectively influence senior-level stakeholders.
Catalyze action against recommendations in a prompt, efficient manner.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Manage team of product management experts to drive high performance and an engaged, collaborative employee experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

12+ years of business and product management leadership experience.  Significant experience leading strategic projects, investment analysis, and expansion opportunities.
Experience in technology and media industries, with a focus on digital media and consumer internet businesses. 
Experience guiding international expansion of products to new geographic markets and countries.
Experience in a leadership role at a publicly-traded, international software company.
Demonstrated ability to build a team of world-class product managers and leaders.

Requirements:

Experience leading large, cross-functional teams in shipping exceptional consumer products at scale across mobile, web, consumer electronics, the connected home and emerging platforms.
Ability to balance thoughtful consideration of potential options with the ability to solve problems, get things done and bring people along through the process. 
History of launching products with 300 Million or more registered users.
Empowering and engaging management style.

Technical Skills:

Demonstration of harnessing complex data streams to evaluate product economics and user adoption.
History of synthesizing qualitative and quantitative user research and usability study outputs to ship successful products.
