Long term contract in Plano, TX for a Senior DevOps Engineer. Will work on Security Software development for global vehicles. Will need to work with very high-level leadership from Japan. Will create a new pipeline to automate DevOps.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Architect the C/C++ DevOps pipeline.
    • Architect pipeline structure with incorporating different branches from 3rd party code.
    • Incorporate security, quality, OSS tools.
    • Integrate security & quality checks.
    • Include hardware-in-the-loop testing.
  • Design the technical measures to support developers from onboarding thru delivery of code.
  • Design and automate the engineers’ development environment.
    • Virtual machine setup, IDE, IDE tools, etc.
  • Open-Source Software alignment with TMNA stakeholders & 3rd parties.
  • Work with external stakeholders to proactively address impediments.
  • Ensure software releases are delivered in timely fashion with high quality.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand timeline, input/output, dependencies, etc.
  • Work with design team and development team to orchestrate workload, resource planning, etc.
  • 3+ years of C or C++ programming experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on technical experience with DevOps tools and practices.
  • Experience architecting & automating cloud native technologies and provisioning infrastructure.
  • Experience architecting cloud native CI/CD workflows using tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using tools as such Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.
  • Experience with the full software development lifecycle and delivery using Agile practices.
  • Experience implementing and designing cloud-native security concepts, DevSecOps.
  • Preferred automotive industry background.
  • AWS Certification is preferred, such as Solutions Architect Pro, DevOps Engineer Pro, etc.
  • Preferred a hands-on working knowledge of security technology and terminology.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration.
