This Dallas-based industry leader has an immediate full-time opportunity for a Senior Data Warehouse Architect.  Will be working 100% remotely and in the future will be 90-95% remote with up to 5% travel or in the office as needed. Will be responsible for defining product requirements and creating high-level architectural specifications, ensuring feasibility, functionality and integration with existing systems/platforms. Will be performing a variety of complicated tasks including providing consultation on complex projects.  Will be considered to be the top level contributor/specialist and may guide a team of developers through the project to completion.  Will support defining and communicating the vision of the Technology architecture and solutions that support the business strategies. Will be collaborating with Engineers, Architects, and Managers to translate business requirements into appropriate functional architecture.

Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree
• 12+ years of related experience as a Senior Data Warehouse Architect.
• Extensive experience with large datawarehouse designs, ETL, and a software development background.
• Hands-on experience with Hadoop Cloudera products
(HBASE, HIVE, KUDU, IMPALA, CDH to CDP migrations, spark, pyspark, etc.) Kafka Multi-casting and troubleshooting High availability designs.
• Experience leading complex projects.  
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions design scenarios preferred.
• Prefer experience with Informatica, Microstrategy, PowerBI, Talend, Redshift, Snowflake, etc.
• Skills and knowledge with multiple architecture domains (e.g. Application/solution architecture, Technical/Infrastructure architecture, Information/Data Architecture & Business Architecture) to ensure balanced solutions
• Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments.
• Excellent analytical and technical skills.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of business re-engineering principles and processes.
• Ability to balance the long-term ("big picture") and short-term implications of individual decisions.
• Ability to translate business needs into architecture and solutions.
• Ability to apply multiple solutions to business problems.
• Ability to rapidly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies.
