Terrific 8+ month contract opportunity in Tampa, Florida for a Senior Data, Process and Analytics Analyst. Will be responsible for the review of data and analysis to support of PPNR FR Y-14 Remediation project. Will support the implementation of the FR Y-14 Pre-Provision Net Revenue (PPNR) in FRSS to validate, reconcile and analyze data, ensuring it's complete and accurate. Will be responsible for the quality and validity of data in accordance to reporting instructions, including reconciliations and analysis. The role includes liaising with technology, project managers, business, and other internal teams in order to track project status and milestones and manage issues for resolution. Will support the PPNR Production team, who will provide supervision, guidance and assign tasks and analysis on the reportable data.
 
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Data validity and analysis, mappings and rules related to FR Y-14 PPNR and FR Y-9c reports.
  • Produce findings of key issues and remediation status, maintain clear documentation of analyses and resolutions.
  • Perform key controls, with proper documentation;
  • Responsible for the reconciliation among different reports and large data sets.
  • Review data and conformity to instructions and document accordingly.
  • Produce metrics for senior management highlighting key issues and remediation status, progress on strategic initiatives, maintain and enhance related operational and analytical procedures.
  • Effective communication: presentations to Management, issue resolution with Technology.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors/MBA degree.
  • 5 + years’ experience working in an accounting/finance environment, data experience preferred.
  • Accounting, Regulatory reporting or Audit experience, CPA preferred.
  • Operations and Product knowledge.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Access/SQL preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with multiple functions (Corporate Reporting, Finance, Risk, Operations Technology).
  • Knowledge of accounting and financial/regulatory reporting.
  • Ability to quickly grasp and master new concepts/requirements and related product/functional knowledge.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills to manage a large number of requests.
  • Attention to detail with a high degree of control and emphasis toward quality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to facilitate discussions.
