Senior Credit & Collections Specialist

Long term contract opportunity in Cedar Rapids, IA for a Senior Credit & Collections Specialist. Will form relationships with external customers to secure payment status on outstanding invoices. Will perform credit evaluations on customers determining credit limits and payment terms.
 
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Respond to inquiries from customers and internal departments.
  • Process customer payments and deposits.
  • Interacting with sales support, customer account administration, contracts, and customer in reconciling accounts.
  • Provide recommendations to leadership on specific customer circumstances.
  • Provide input for forecasting and variance reporting.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline. In the absence of a degree, HS Diploma/equivalent with six years of experience in credit and collection.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Self-motivated and able to prioritize multiple demands.
