Position:  Senior Business Analyst
Location: Remote
Term: 12 Months Contract

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Document existing operational capabilities and future needs, in terms of processes, standards, responsibilities and infrastructure
  • Analyze organizational risks, gaps, and opportunities associated with future needs and proposed solutions
  • Document existing and proposed systems and processes in Company's standard notation (Archimate and BPMN)
  • Work with globally distributed, cross-functional leaders, program managers, process analysts and delivery stakeholders to understand business needs and desired outcomes
  • Identify, document, and prioritize business objectives
  • Facilitate interviews and working sessions with business owners and subject matter experts to elicit, capture and prioritize business requirements
  • Lead requirements definition and analysis, ensuring requirements are complete, concise, comprehensible and traceable; decompose into concise user stories with clear acceptance criteria
  • Conduct walkthroughs to validate requirements; manage stakeholder expectations and requirements scope throughout a project
  • Support development of test plans, create test scripts and facilitate user acceptance testing
  • Partner with process analysts to assist with identifying changes to existing processes, policies and operational controls
  • Assist change management consultants and process analysts with business readiness planning, preparation and delivery

Is this a good fit? (Requirements):

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, or comparable field
  • 5+ years experience in consulting, program management, or the business analysis domain
  • Solid business acumen, experience analyzing and documenting complex requirements
  • Experience facilitating work with global, culturally diverse, cross-functional stakeholder teams
  • Ability to prioritize competing requirements and advocate for positive change
  • Collaborative mindset with strong technical and business communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Google Suite, SmartSheet and process documentation software such as Lucidchart or Signavio
  • Familiarity with platform or software delivery methodologies, particularly in Agile environments
  • Experience with ERP, CRM, PRM, or finance management platforms a plus
