Position: Security Analyst
Location: Houston, TX 
Term: 6 months
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Continuously identify, measure, and manage security posture to reduce risk and maintain compliance, answering the question “how secure are our cloud assets?”, from security configurations to operational practices.
  • Shift focus from reactive monitoring and response to preventing external threats and insider risks.
  • Tying compliance violations and exceptions to organizational risks.
  • Continuous engagement ensuring coverage of all cloud assets. (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS)
  • Cloud security architecture and solution recommendations.
  • Identify gaps, establish security controls, policies, standards, and operating principles.
  • Link compliance violations and exceptions to organizational risks.
  • Provide visibility using holistic view of attack surface and help to prioritize security improvements.
  • Execute control and process enhancements.
  • Transformation inputs and change management.
  • Regulatory compliance, policy enforcement and approvals.
  • Monitoring for operational effectiveness, quality assurance, metrics and reporting.
