Senior Analyst Enterprise Risk Management - Alpharetta, GA

Global FinTech giant seeking a Risk Management Analyst for their expanding team in Alpharetta! This Risk Analyst will work with, and provide assistance to management in executing the aspects of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Program, most specifically, Vendor Risk Management. The Senior Analyst will carry out and execute the programs and processes for identifying, assessing, monitoring, aggregating, and reporting key risks and related information as they pertain to third-party risk under the direction of the Manager or Director of ERM.

  • Identify risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and track issue remediation through closure
  • Interpret guidelines, policies, and/or procedures to provide a second line of defense (critical challenge) approach on items such as key risk indicators or key performance indicators
  • Aide and consult with business units in establishing, maintaining and continuously improving vendor risk management strategies
  • Assist in the maintenance of the GRC Information System for analyzing & reporting risk data to senior management and the Board of Directors
  • Represent the company by leading, coordinating, and facilitating third party assessments, including interaction with senior third party personnel, discussion with internal leadership, reporting results, and development of migration strategies for identified issues
  • Analyze and report on key risk indicators using data available across the organization
  • Work with Vendor Risk Management and internal business teams to assess and support vendor risk reporting needs, conduct group and individual training, develop dashboards, and create work plans
  • Provide technology (e.g., Compliance, Cyber Security, Technology and Operational) risk and risk analytics expertise while working with the ERM team and business owners to proactively identify technology risk exposures related to critical third parties
  • Assist in ensuring accurate data capture of activities and technical risks in support of risk reporting for all levels of management.
Ideal candidate has a solid mix of the following:
  • Experience with risk management including enterprise and/or vendor risk assessments, risk mitigation concepts and strategies and key risk indicators (KRIs)
  • Experience with technology (compliance, cyber security, IT risk) standard interpretation, risk identification, mitigation strategy development, and reporting
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and writing skills
  • Effective organization and time management skills, including the ability to adjust priorities as directed and synthesize multiple tasks and timelines into holistic, clearly defined milestones and deliverables
  • Ability to present to small and large groups
  • Solid interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, including being detail-oriented.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Management Information Systems, or Business Administration 
  • Three (3) or more years of consulting
  • Payments processing or FinTech experience
  • Ability to travel 2-3 days per month post pandemic
