Responsibilities
- Design, engineer, test and document infrastructure to support client’s retail back office PC solution
- Takes over responsibilities to design, test and document deployment scenarios from multiple hardware vendors:
- Google Chromebox via Workspace
- Microsoft Windows 10 via AutoPilot
- Prepares applications for distribution via client management tools as needed
- Provides 3rd level technical support of infrastructure components and support processes for retail deployments
- Provides technical guidance to business and IT organizations as required
- Recommend areas where existing policies and procedures require change or where new ones need to be developed.
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Computer Science, MIS or another technical field) or 8+ years of equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing clients in distributed retail environments
- Strong working knowledge with one or more scripting languages – PowerShell, Windows Command Script, Visual Basic Script
- Strong troubleshooting skills and root cause analysis
- Experience interfacing with vendors
- Experience working with current application packaging technologies (ex. Flexera AdminStudio, InstallShield, Microsoft’s MSIX)
- Experience working with cross functional business and IT groups
- Working knowledge of PCI requirements
- Experience with enterprise application whitelisting tools
- Experience with SDLC and/or Agile project methodologies
