MATRIX seeks a SaaS Support Analyst to join the Atlanta team to be responsible for operating Linux based infrastructure and applications and providing basic customer support. There will be some on-call coverage required on rotating weekends (approximately every six weeks).
CLIENT JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Custom application support utilizing SQL, Stored Procedures, and custom shell scripts.
- Provide direct support to clients via tickets, emails and calls
- Interpret business requests in order to make appropriate application configuration changes
- Assist/lead complex proprietary application upgrades.
- Responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting Oversight application (Linux/Oracle based)
- Perform advanced problem diagnostics, identification and resolution; execute Incident Management, escalation and notification procedures
- Ability to create standard solutions to complex issues and errors
- Problem analysis and root cause determination
- Training or guiding end users through the application
- Writing scripts/tools are available as growth opportunities to the best candidates as primary skill mastery is demonstrated
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 – 4 years college; Bachelor degree in computer related program preferred
- 2 – 4 years of hands on Application Level Support
- 2 – 4 years of hands-on Unix Operations experience
- 2 – 4 years of hands-on SQL Operations experience
- RedHat Linux
- Working technical knowledge of common Linux commands, crontab, and reading system and application log files
- Ability to create/modify/troubleshoot custom shell scripts
- Experience with SQL and stored procedures
- Basic knowledge of Advanced SQL functionality including: indexes, table joins, subqueries, unions and analytic functions
- Proprietary application troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of ERP systems and expense management systems preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be a self-starter and work effectively with minimal supervision
- Highly detail oriented
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams in a highly dynamic work environment
- Must be customer oriented
- Works effectively in a demanding, complex technical environment
- Ability to pass Security + or SSCP examination within 90 days (Third party instruction provided)
- Current or previous A+ certification is a plus
