Risk Project Manager

Grow your career as a Risk Project Manager with an innovative global bank in New York, NY. Long-term contract with excellent growth potential. Will start working remotely until offices reopen, then will be required to be onsite 2-3 days per week.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate internal resources in order to execute on project.
  • Ensure project is delivered on-time, and within scope.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent and proven working experience in project management.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)/PRINCE II certification is a plus.
