Risk Program Manager

Grow your career as a Risk Program Manager with an innovative global bank in Tampa, FL. Long-term contract with excellent growth potential. Will start working remotely until offices reopen, then will be required to be onsite 2-3 days per week.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Support planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities of running a program.
  • Ensure change control is executed throughout program.
  • Ensure creation of program plan, charter and issue logs.
  • Ensure resources are assigned to program & monitors commitment.
  • Identify, document, and understand program dependencies.
  • Identify key stakeholders who participate in program scope definition.
  • Ensure appropriate program staffing levels.
  • Establish program communication needs and create program communication plan.
  • Create the program risk management plan.
  • Makes recommendations for training and development needs for assigned personnel.
  • Coach and evaluate team's performance.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding the company, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
  • 4 years of experience in program management.
  • Qualification in program management or equivalent (PgMP/PMP/PRINCE2).
  • Demonstrated having worked as a Program or Project Manager and/or Lead medium to large cross-functional projects with commensurate people management experience.
  • Business Analyst or Developer experience with application development and data projects prior to becoming a PM.
  • Data analysis experience and understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform & Load).
  • Financial services domain experience and knowledge of financial products and their flow in a banking environment.
  • Comfortable with Excel.
  • Hands on BA/PM that understands data (data services - system consolidation - downstream reporting), can understand what the business stakeholders need documenting it enough to summarize it to have a BA take it from there.
