Long term contract opportunity in New York, NY for a Recruiting Coordinator. Will work with recruiters and the leadership team to ensure all phases of the recruiting lifecycle (identification of needs, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection and on boarding) are executed in an effective fashion. Will serve as a key resource for clients in providing data, status updates and general information about the recruitment process.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Interact with various levels of candidates, human resources and hiring managers to schedule interviews.
  • Maintain information in the Applicant Tracking System (Workday) and other Human Resource Information Systems.
  • Maintain information in the Case Management System (Service Now, aka SNOW').
  • Prepare offer letters.
  • Accountable for accurate completion of the new hire paperwork and to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Interact with candidates and hiring managers to ensure a successful on-boarding experience.
  • Interface with internal resources and outside vendors regarding pre-employment requirements, including background checks, fingerprinting, drug tests, etc.
  • On-board new hires.
  • Generate ad-hoc reports as needed.
  • Perform work in compliance with applicable federal, state and local regulations pertaining to equal employment opportunity, immigration and company policy per management direction.
 
Qualifications:
  • BA or BS or equivalent required.
  • 3 months to 2 years of work experience in recruiting.
  • Prefer knowledge and prior experience with human resource policies & practices.
  • Desire to pursue a career in Human Resources.
  • Prefer experience with Workday and Service Now (SNOW) preferred.
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel. Desire to enhance technical skills and learning required.
  • Very professional, customer service focused demeanor.
  • Able to handle multiple competing priorities.

  • Effective problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
