Long Term Contract Opportunity!
Position: R&D Technician
Location: Valhalla, NY 10595-1253
Term: 12 Months (09/20/2021 to 09/10/2022)
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8-5
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Main responsibility is to assist analytical lab analysis by performing chemical and physical analysis of both beverage and concentrate samples under the direction of lab manager and senior members of the team.
  • Daily work includes preparing chemical solutions, performing sample dilutions as needed, performing wet chemistry analysis such as pH, TA, density, Brix, CO2 analysis, color analysis, volatile extraction by following approved methods, and supporting other tasks assigned by lab manager.
Is this a good fit? (Requirements):
  • BS in a Science degree such as Chemistry.
  • Good computer skills - MS Word and Excel, etc.
  • Must be a team player, well organized and detail oriented in performing lab work to ensure data quality of the analysis.
  • Good learning skills and good communication skills.
  • Able to follow lab safety procedure and good lab practices.
