Our client, a locally based bank in Raleigh, NC is in search of an IT Project Manager with experience leading projects for new Fraud Prevention systems in the banking industry.

Location: 100% remote (must work Eastern Timezone hours)
Duration: 9 months, likely to extend to 12+ months

Key Skills:
Banking experience is a must.
Experience leading projects that decide what fraud prevention systems are used for core banking transaction systems including but not limited to: Loan Processing, Deposit, Online Banking, Customer Service.
Keeping projects moving up to and through decision points on technology changes related to fraud prevention systems.
Status reporting and how that is provided (varying levels of detail as the project moves through stages)
Experience working with Business Operations and technology teams through a merger.

Job Summary
This position is responsible for projects of a substantial scope and influence to enhance the Bank’s technological capabilities. Leverage in depth business and technical knowledge to manage the execution and administration of project life cycle including planning, scope definition, design, and delivery. Recognize and drive organizational transformations outside of projects.  Directs both technical and non-technical aspects  with an advanced understanding of project management approaches. Tracks and reports progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators to analyze strategic impact of project activities. Coordinates activities of IT teams with other lines of business to achieve project goals.
