Our client, a leading software provider headquartered in Raleigh, NC is in search of an experienced Project Manager with strong stakeholder management experience for a global billing system implementation project that will work across Sales, Services, Marketing, and Finance teams to make sure the new system meets their needs.

Location: 100% remote to start, but will be required to be in the office with the team 1-3 days per week once they are back in the office.

Job Summary:
Our client's PMO is seeking a Project Manager for cross-functional, transformational projects. In this role, you will conduct end-to-end project management of a variety of projects that impact our Accounting, Finance, and Global Workplace teams. Additional responsibilities include assisting with business case development, team process improvements, as well as, coaching and mentoring fellow team members and organizational partners.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Actively manages complex projects to successful completion from initiation through delivery and closure.
- Solid understanding of industry standard project management practices reflected by following our clients policies and procedures and the ability to interact with senior client management and leadership.
- Collaborates with stakeholders and project team to create a project plan that delivers the scope from an approved business case
- Reports on the project's status and tracking to the overall timeline, cost and scope delivery
- Facilitates stakeholder identification, team updates, Steering Committee meetings, Go/No Go decisions,
- Creates and maintains project artifacts (Plan, change requests)
- Proactively raises risks and issues that can/will impact the project's delivery.
- Ensures that adequate change management and communication plans have been created for the project and incorporated into the overall project plan
- Enables Project Management (PMR) business controls on all projects,
- Contributes to the project methodology and standardization.
- Ensures business readiness activities are planned and incorporated into the overall project plan.
- Promotes a collaborative environment so that all voices at the table can participate
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years relevant work experience and 7+ year project management experience w/ PMP or Scrum certification OR 5+years relevant work experience and 7+ years project management experience w/o PMP or Scrum Certification

- Strong communication skills both verbal and written, and strong presentation skills

- Actively identifies problems and champions resolutions
