Our client is seeking a Project Manager for a 6-month contract opportunity in Irving, TX! 

Responsibilities 
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to plan, organize, execute, and standardize complex projects to activate a new  “dark store” type
  • Support development and implementation of dark store operational roadmap
  • Analyzing and solving operational barriers with a focus on understanding root causes and driving forward opportunities
  • Driving innovation that improves existing convenience store/QSR processes, creates new processes from scratch, and continuously improves efficiency and quality of dark stores
  • Manage quality of installations through verification and communication with installation teams
  • Manage all communication to the field and keep alignment on rollout process with all involved parties
  • Collect, analyze, and distribute feedback from field operations teams including but not limited to roundtables, phone calls, surveys and store visits
  • Gathering and analyzing data across fulfillment and delivery functions to establish global standards for operations and other cross functional teams
  • Develop after action reviews for process improvements and develop best practices for internal operations
  • Leveraging analytics to support the future state of the business
Required Skills and Experience 
  • Bachelor’s Degree/4 Yr Degree
  • Experience: 5-7 years
  • Retail Operations/store experience
  • Exposure to Six Sigma, Lean Operations, experience in transportation/logistics, distribution/ fulfillment centers
  • Project management experience
  • Proven ability to achieve results within a complex multi-stakeholder environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong presentation skills required
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to deliver on time in a fast-paced environment
Desired Skills and Experience 
  • MBA or Masters degree
  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Transportation, Project Management or Industrial Engineering within Distribution, Retail, Manufacturing or Transportation industries
