Long term contract opportunity in New Berlin, WI for a Program Manager who will lead medium-sized programs. Will develop program plans, Statements of Work, schedules, milestones, and budgets. Will support strategic planning efforts, solutions for program problems, contract negotiations, and manages important vendors.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Lead medium size programs to ensure adherence to program plans, schedules.
  • Primary point of contact with the customers for the programs responsible for.
  • Coordinate all internal activities with engineering, supply chain, quality, and production as required for the success of the program.
  • Manages important vendors and develops milestones, program plans, schedules and budgets for programs.
  • Consolidate and present plans and progress reports.
  • Support annual strategic planning efforts for the business.
  • Identify and react to program problems and supports solutions, such as allocation of resources and changing contractual specifications and changes in program scope.
  • Support the development of new business growth strategies.
  • Coordinate resource allocation.
  • Participate in contractual changes, including preparation of proposals, business plans, work statements, budgets, specifications, and financial conditions of contracts to ensure legal compliance and to protect the organization’s interests.
  • Direct all program phases from inception through completion.
  • Manage the contract lifecycle, cost, schedule and performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs.
  • Establish cost focused performance targets and directs work to achieve these targets.
  • 4-year Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • 3-4 years prior experience in program management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BS degree in an Engineering or technical field with 5 years of prior relevant experience in program management.
  • Aerospace, avionics, or aircraft experience.
