Terrific long term contract opportunity in Tampa, Florida for a Production Support Lead Analyst. This is a business sensitive position that requires attention to detail and quick turnaround. Will liaise between various support team across multiple vendors to provide seamless customer experience.
  • Leads a critical operational support service, process, capability or initiative within an operational unit and ensures performance and/or risk indicators are met.
  • Establish and monitor process performance measurements and business impact.
  • Gather and communicate performance statistics and reports to internal stakeholders and senior management.
  • Monitor effectiveness and efficiency of production and/or process.
  • Determine and/or drives change and improvement efforts in production and/or processes.
  • Coordinate with other stake holders located across shores.
  • Ownership and responsibility for end-to-end production batches.
  • Ensure process compliance and manage expectations of the leadership.
  • Actively trace and track issues and document the issue resolutions.
  • Create monthly issue reports.
  • Ensure best practices are followed.
  • Participate in application releases, from development, testing and deployment into production.
  • Performs other duties and functions as assigned Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding the company, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
  • 6-8 years’ experience in handling production support activities.
  • 3+ years lead or project/people management experience.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Unix and shell scripting experience. Able to understand, analyze and write PL SQL queries on Oracle databases.
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience in supporting Java/Tomcat based Web Applications.
  • Experience in support of Compliance areas like – AML, Red Flag Screening etc. is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Production Support processes till doing Root Cause Analysis is a must.
  • Should have good expertise in database level analysis to trace issues to closure.
  • Willingness to learn backed with solid technology understanding of distributed systems is essential. Must have the ability to coordinate with other teams and come to a resolution of batch issues at the earliest.
  • Experienced with handling production support activities.
  • Should be aware of the scheduling tool like Autosys.
  • Hands-on experience UNIX with knowledge in scripting language to create scripts for automation of daily batch reports.
  • 5+ years Relational Database SQL (Oracle) experience. Should be capable of writing complex and efficient SQL DML statements.
  • Experience on shell scripting would be added advantage.
  • Experience with ETL Development tools preferred.
  • Experience in configuring monitoring tools like App Dynamics is preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage schedules under tight, SLA’s.
  • First class degree with excellent academic qualifications. B.E/ B.Tech. in Comp science, IT, or other engineering disciplines.
  • Knowledge of business process design techniques that encourage a critical, fresh look at key processes and focus on optimizing organizational performance; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Knowledge of and ability to design, implement and evaluate standard operating procedures affecting daily and strategic business operations in order to increase operational efficiency.
  • Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques and ability to understand, monitor, update, or enhance existing business or work processes.
  • Understanding of the issues related to the decision-making process; ability to analyze situations fully and accurately, and reach productive decisions.
  • Understanding of the necessity and value of accuracy and attention to detail; ability to process information with high levels of accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
  • Knowledge of and ability to bring a reported problem to successful resolution.
  • Knowledge of major functional processes and associated operating requirements; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
