Production Support Coordinator

Job Description:    
The Production Support Coordinator oversees the accurate utilization of milk and ingredients into the DAX MRP system for the Arizona and Virginia production sites. The position prepares and submits to accounts payable the payments for federally regulated milk as well as our payments of cream to our vendors. In addition, the position assists with regulatory reporting as well as month end.

Essential Duties:
  • Daily tracking of Raw Milk Receipts
  • Settling with the producers bi-monthly and working up the producer payroll payments
  • Tracking milk usage for federal reports
  • Maintaining and collating records of milk receipts & usage for audits
  • Daily checking of entries from the production floor into DAX (Batching &
  • Production)
  • Aid in the research of warehouse issues involving inventory variances
  • Complete, submit and maintain monthly regulatory reports to several government agencies
  • Month end closing responsibilities to include closing the Dax inventory and miscellaneous Billing
  • Other support as needed

  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency with strong emphasis on Excel,
  • Other software - DAX and SharePoint
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills
  • Manufacturing and/or production experience preferred
  • General understanding of Accounting principles
  • Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which may be subject to evenings, weekends and holidays.
