Position: Process Manager
Location: Charlotte, NC or Des Moines, IA
Term: 6 months

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Contract Process Management:
    • Manage third party (vendor) contracting process, submitting & tracking status of supply chain requests and their fulfillment, delivering & tracking inbound & outbound documentation, prompting response/reply/document review by Supply Chain, Third Party, or subject matter expert/leader
    • Develop & deliver executive summaries in preparation for executive review/approval/execution of third party agreements
    • Maintain status of agreements in-flight and provide to management on-request
    • Evaluate third party scope of work and cost estimates for inconsistencies, errors, and favorability/unfavorability; Brief subject matter experts/leaders on content at the appropriate level
  • Mediation Scheduling Coordination:
    • Manage an email inbox that fields inquiries from a variety of parties that revolve around scheduling independent mediation sessions
    • Coordinate mediation sessions involving customers, mediators, & client representatives, reacting to scheduling changes

Other Desired Qualifications:

  • Ability to quickly assume ownership and control of a requirements intake and contract throughput process currently averaging ~25 contracts in varying stages of completion, from initial user request, to final contract execution
  • Ability to simultaneously manage two email inboxes – one personal (for vendor contract throughput and day-to-day work), and one shared (for mediation scheduling & coordination)
  • Solid ability to communicate in writing grammatically (correct), succinctly, yet informatively, to business executives
  • More-than-cursory experience drafting, evaluating, and negotiating contract scope-of-work, supplier cost structures, and service level agreements
  • Solid competence using MS-Excel
  • Solid competence using MS-PowerPoint
  • Experience using MS-SharePoint
  • Ability to accept unstructured projects, learn requirements in-detail, manage project and outcomes, and transition to other owners/managers as necessary
  • Excellent command of respectfully managing remote meetings involving supplier and own-company subject matter experts
  • Supreme organization in meeting agenda preparation, note-taking, meeting minute distribution, action item follow-up
  • Impeccable documentation/update of effort status, regardless of format or software application
  • Ability to calendar critical meetings considering multivariable constraints
  • Ability to anticipate issues, think beyond current problem, and take advantage of opportunities to avoid downstream issues through same-day action
  • Ability to identify issues and effectively communicate escalation in ways that aid management in acting to prevent or resolve the issues
