Long term contract opportunity in Irving, TX for a Principle Technical Program Manager. Will have scope and responsibility across one or more business domains, such as: Acquisitions, Identity, Servicing, Offer Management, Risk & Compliance, Data Platforms, Data Regulations and Data Protection.
  • Operate with independence to define and drive the overall end-to-end execution of our roadmap for platform simplification and modernization.
  • Manage dependencies, dive deep with engineers across the company, and regularly communicate with VPs, senior leaders, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Work closely with a talented team of software development managers, principal engineers, and senior leaders to define business and systems requirements, write design specifications, drive project schedules from design to release, and manage the production launch of a brand-new app architecture.
  • Drive mindful discussions that lead to decisions that ensure business and technical leaders are aligned.
  • Demonstrate exceptional judgment in making tradeoffs, building consensus, knowing how and when to escalate, and identifying and mitigating risks before they become blockers.
  • Clearly and succinctly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes so teammates and leaders understand the decisions to make and the downstream consequences.
  • Encourage teams to decouple from organizational and architectural dependencies, eliminating redundancy, and landing work with the right teams.
  • Continuously monitor capacity, demand, execution, delivery, and hygiene via key performance indicators including: capacity, demand, backlog, velocity, quality, project throughput, spend, regulatory compliance, and application security.
  • Ensure execution aligns with all regulatory requirements while continuously working to simplify and to automate the necessary and auditable paperwork and processes.
  • Exposure to senior members of the organization, where you would be preparing documentation for senior executives and align roadmaps with organizational objectives.
  • Communicate and build relationships with business, technology, audit, risk, fraud, and finance executives.
  • Establish collaborative and productive relationships with product management, governance, UX design, vendors and other supporting teams.
  • Foster an environment of engineering excellence and innovation.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and anticipate and make tradeoffs, balancing the business needs versus technical constraints.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
  • 10+ years of hands on and leadership experience, leading technical teams in a complex and fast past moving environment. Demonstrated experience leading large, significantly complex projects, and will have a well-rounded technical background conversant in current data and cloud technologies.
  • Experience with Cloud computing, online services, externalizable APIs, enterprise software development, engineering and associated operations at scale, application security.
  • Experience delivering advanced analytics solutions including predictive and prescriptive analytics, real time streaming analytics, visualization and data lakes and marts at scale at large complex enterprise.
  • Understand technical program management and engineering best practices and able to use that knowledge to drive simple and coherent approaches towards building the best solutions and scalable platforms for the customers.
  • Experience in conceptualizing, designing and delivery of engineering outcomes & product launches across cross functional teams and domains.
  • Proven ability to drive transformation and simplification of a function and organization.
  • A deep understanding of Agile software development processes. Lean engineering focus.
  • Customer focused, with proven excellence in program delivery, with high quality and engineering focus
  • Able to communicate (written and oral) to executives, peers, and staff with eloquence and authenticity.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a complex regulatory framework and to innovate while achieving compliance objectives.
