Position: Principal Data Management Analyst
Location: CHARLOTTE, North Carolina, 28282
Term: 6 months
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Will oversee various product lines, work on the roadmap based on the product lifecycle, and assist in the development, creation, and management of new ideas to ensure they become successful products.
- Developing the product roadmap, conducting user research, and fostering shared understanding.
- Expect to closely collaborate with platform engineers, data scientists as well as leadership teams.
- Making sure data modeling teams has the tools to build the model, and then takes the model in to production.
- Identify and research new technologies, solutions, and deep learning capabilities that solve relevant business problems, including reinforcement learning, semi supervised learning, and unsupervised learning.
- Research new technologies, solutions, and techniques.
- Develop and implement a data management, data quality or metadata research plan that may include small teams.
- Influence and teach others in new areas by writing papers, giving presentations internal and external, leading courses and curriculum, and giving demonstrations.
- Engage with and support data management teams with technical guidance and direction.
Is this a good fit? (Requirements):
- Combination of Product Manager and AI/ML environment experience. This is not a technical role however, the business acumen is essential.
- Experience with data science, data engineering, and MLOps workflows in a traditional on-prem, hybrid cloud, or public cloud environment is highly desirable as is product management experience related to a large, multi-faceted product designed for software engineers.
- 7+ years of relevant experience, product management and AI experience.
- Product Management/Product Owner
- ML Ops (for example it is the entire pipeline, they are trying to standardize process so how do we take these steps in to production, this is taking a model to production)
- Data Science (machine learning, familiar with AI/ML techniques
- Python
- Machine Learning Libraries
- 10+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Preferred Industry/Company Experience:
- Not required but nice, much of this is generic but at times applies to financial situations such as fraud.
