Position: Principal Analyst
Location: Atlanta, GA 30309
Term:  5 months
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Promotes general awareness of STS Risk Management policies and procedures and coordinates activities to foster awareness and understanding of key governance, risk and compliance within each functional area.
  • Develops and fosters a culture of risk mitigation and accountability within STS.
  • Works with STS colleagues to help ensure the implementation of key risk management practices and procedures in the normal course of operations.
  • Ensures that controls used to mitigate risks are properly designed, executed, and documented.
  • Works with corporate-level resources to identify, design, and test controls for optimal effectiveness.
  • Serves as an advisor for STS regarding risk-related matters and serves as a liaison between the business, internal/external audit and corporate-level risk management resources.
  • Supports internal/external audits and regulatory examinations.
  • Monitors the disposition/resolution of issues resulting from audits and examinations.
  • Manages and assesses risk associated with various projects and processes, providing recommendations to mitigate risks.
  • Maintain an awareness of all regulatory requirements and changes within the industry and their impact on our services.
Is this a good fit? (Requirements):
  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or technical.
  • CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP or a qualification in an IT discipline.
  • 7+ years of audit, information security, risk & controls experience working in a corporate technology, Big 4 and/or Consulting roles.
  • Working knowledge of methods used to perform risk analysis, risk assessments, control assessments, vulnerability assessments and audit management.
  • Working knowledge of IT regulatory and corporate requirements such as SOX and SSAE18 / ISAE3402 as both a SOC1/SOC2 service organization and report user.
  • Familiarity with standards and frameworks, such as COBIT, COSO, ITIL, ISO27000, NIST etc. and ability to apply to a Technology environment.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of IT technologies and business software including Windows/Unix operating platforms, database technologies, Microsoft applications, network technologies and key business applications.
  • Financial Services experience a key advantage.
