Grow your career as a PMO/Chief of Staff with an innovative global bank in New York, NY. Long-term contract with excellent growth potential. Will be required to work onsite 2-3 days per week. Will be part of a team that manages high-impact strategic projects on behalf of the Chief Risk Officer across various areas, providing both credit and market risk experience, for a very senior internal business, risk, and external audience. Will gain: enhanced market and product knowledge, substantial senior management exposure, across risk, business, and other functions, increased business knowledge, improved project management skills and numerous communication opportunities.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Manage, and/or coordinate special projects on behalf of the Chief of Staff. The projects span a variety of initiatives, and support senior-level audiences. Sample projects include:
    • External Rating Agency (e.g., Moody’s, S&P and Fitch) meeting coordination.
    • Periodic regulatory meetings with key regulators such as FRB, OCC or FDIC etc.
    • Maintain awareness of top of current events and trends to assess impact on the company and its clients.
    • Prepare business achievements and recap.
    • Produce a portion of the monthly risk deck.
  • Update and improve all ICG Risk communication efforts including:
    • Source topics, prepare and distribute monthly newsletters.
    • Regularly update the website with announcements, org charts, and related links.
    • Coordinate the organization’s Town Hall.
    • Maintain the organization’s Collaborate site.
  • Support learning and development initiatives.
  • Support team building event for the organization.
  • Maintain team calendar and team book of work.
 
Qualifications:
  • 3 – 5+ years of work experiences in major banks.
  • Proficient technological skills including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
  • Ability to synthesize complex concepts, translate into user-friendly language, and effectively communicate in both verbal and written forms.
