PMO Leader (Business Operations)

This nationwide industry leader has an immediate 6 month contract-to-hire opportunity in Southlake, TX for a PMO Leader.  This position requires someone that is strong on the Business Operations side.  Will be instrumental with facilitating the 5 year corporate growth strategy and all of the established projects involving Operations, HR, Sales, Finance, and IT. This is a hands-on individual contributor position that requires:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 10+ years Project/Program Management experience.
  • Experience with establishing project tracking/monitoring tools and processes.
  • Experience with reporting project statuses to senior leadership.
  • Experience tracking KPIs and financial reporting.
  • Experience supporting and training project managers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strongly prefer experience within the residential/commercial construction or services industry.

This PMO Leader will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining the PMO Infrastructure.
  • Collecting and documenting projects.
  • Facilitating project prioritization.-
  • Getting program sign off from the Steering Committee.
  • Establishing project tracking/monitoring tools and processes.
  • Tracking project implementation and KPIs, working with FP&A Leads.
  • Reviewing activities, KPIs, financial tracking.
  • Escalating issues to the steering committee or senior management.
  • Orchestrating reviews.
  • Developing calendar of reviews and defining agenda based on criticality and progress.-
  • Preparing steering committee for reviews.
  • Providing problem solving and process support to the project managers.
  • Supporting and training project managers.
  • Assisting the project managers with review presentations.
  • Coordinating the overall program.
  • Ensuring communication among units and synergy in problem structuring and solving.
  • Identifying issues for future projects.
