This international industry leader has an immediate 12+ month contract opportunity in Plano, TX for a Payroll Support Analyst.  Primary duty is to resolve team member and third-party questions and issues related to timekeeping and payroll related activities. The administrator will follow prescribed SOPs and utilize a case management system for all actions taken. This will require research in multiple systems with some decision making and judgement. There are multiple companies, policies, and systems within the company. There are multiple localities and regulatory groups that require different compliance practices across the vast differences that exist within the organization. Payroll days are very fast paced. There are daily, weekly, monthly, and annual deadlines that must be managed to deliver accurate and timely payroll. There will a defined training program including standard operating procedures and on the job training. Must be willing to work some nights, weekends, and holidays to support client payroll processing.
 
Required Skills:
  • Associate's Degree Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Accounting, Business, Finance, Management or Human Resources highly preferred.
  • 3+ years of UltiPro experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience working with Time and Labor systems and administration in a manufacturing environment.
  • 3+ years of Kronos experience.
  • 3+ years of payroll operational experience from a corporate, multi-state environment.
  • 5+ years of payroll operational experience from a large corporate, multi-state environment.
  • Basic level proficiency in running queries and using reporting tools.
  • 3+ years of Time and Labor systems experience.
  • Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Intermediate level proficiency state and federal wage and hour laws, general tax requirements and withholding.
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication skills with proven results in problem resolution.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • FPC or CPP designation.
