Oracle Functional Consultant-Finance

Our client has an exciting new opportunity for an Oracle consultant to work on the end-to-end Oracle EBS implementation.  This position can sit anywhere in the U.S. 

This position will support business applications on EBS/ Integration as the company embarks upon implementing a new ERP system in the manufacturing plants and transforming a legacy ERP system into a global ERP platform and processes and owning the end-to-end solution.  This position will start out 100% remote but may lead to some travel in the future (once/month one the project is over for deployment). 

Required skills:

  1. Oracle implementation experience (5-10 years of experience)
  2. Oracle EBS
  3. Cloud Fusion and Cloud Financials experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize competing demands, scoping large efforts, and negotiating timelines are necessary skills.
  • Engage Oracle Support to research and resolve issues.
  • Build low-level ad-hoc query tools (Toad, SQLPlus) and a working knowledge SQL queries.
  • Root cause analysis and complex problem solving for bugs reported
  • Analyze data and translating business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Work with Developers to review the code / outcome and validate them against the requirements
  • Guide developers in requirements, logics , bug fixing and clarify functional doubts

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Functional knowledge of Oracle e-Business suite / Oracle Fusion : Oracle Fusion Financial General Ledger, Receivable , Payable, Fixed Asset , Cash Management
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience working with more than one of the following applications: : Oracle Fusion Financial General Ledger, Receivable , Payable, Fixed Asset , Cash Management
  • Knowledge of the underlying Oracle tables, integration points and technology processes are critical to success in this role.
  • Experience prioritizing competing demands, scoping large efforts, and negotiating timelines are necessary skills.
  • Experience in engaging Oracle Support to research and resolve issues.
  • Experience with low-level ad-hoc query tools (Toad, SQLPlus) and a working knowledge SQL queries.
  • Root cause analysis and complex problem-solving skills are important.
  • Experience analyzing data and translating business requirements into technical specifications. Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to work with Developers to review the code / outcome and validate them against the requirements
  • Ability to Guide developers in requirements, logic , bug fixing and clarify functional doubts
