Mulesoft Developer

MATRIX is seeking a Mulesoft Developer for our client headquartered in Harrisburg Pennsylvania . Our client is a national provider of student financial aid services, serving millions of students and thousands of schools through its loan guaranty, loan servicing, financial aid processing, outreach and other student aid programs. You will be responsible for the design and implementation of large scale and complex WMQ/Mulesoft deployments. You will be required to maintain and support a large of number of medium to enterprise messaging configurations according to existing procedures utilizing in-house built and industry standards. You will be responsible for research and development of new technologies and best practices, implementation of complex and comprehensive solutions for enterprise WMQ messaging flows, creating project proposals and system design technical documentation, design and implementation of Websphere MQ/Mulesoft automation. You will author and maintain technical design documentation and operational procedures including the use of diagrams and translations of user requirements to technical functions. You will engage software development staff to design and troubleshoot applications in an enterprise environment.

Required Skills:

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, system and performance tuning skills.
  • Should be strong in MQ channel configuration using different transmission protocols.
  • Should have experience with MQ Clusters.
  • Should be strong with MQ Client applications & MQ client configuration
    • IBM Integration Toolkit and ESQL (Development Tool)
    • IBM WebSphere Message Broker V7,
      • DFDL Conversion from CICS COPYBOOK (plus to have
    • IBM Integration BUS V9 or Later
      • Web Service (SOAP and REST API)
      • CICS interaction via Queue
      • WebSphere JMS/MQ Application
      • Source Code Control: Subversion
  • Programming experience with MQ API's - JMS, Java - is a plus.
  • Mulesoft Developer with experience with Mule 4.0
    • Experience with Apache Maven
    • Source Code Control: Gitlab
    • Mulesoft API management and development -- especially using Any point Studio.
    • DataWeave
    • Experience with cloud integration
  • Experience with CI/CD
  • Experience with monitoring tools like AppDynamics and Splunk.
  • Must be able to work/provide off-hours on-call support as a member of a rotational support team.
