Mobile Systems Support Specialist

This fast growing nationwide industry leader has an immediate 6 month contract-to-hire opportunity in Coppell, TX for a Mobile Systems Support Specialist.  This position requires working in the office Monday-Friday.  Key responsibilities will be managing all of the mobile devices (phones, iPads), Verizon relationship, MDM, preparing laptops, and resolving escalated service tickets.  In addition, there would be other responsibilities to further initiatives in IT.

The Systems Support Specialist is responsible for support and procurement of a wide array of devices including phones, laptops, and tablets. This individual is expected to remain abreast of newly released and emerging technologies. Additionally, will have responsibility for cross-training other staff members on their domain.
The Systems Support Specialist will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for mobile technology. Will be expected to provide expertise on new technology trends to influence change.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing end-user support for iOS, Android and Windows platforms while delivering exceptional customer service

  • Consistently and accurately using ticketing and purchasing systems to enter, track and close all transactions

  • Responsible for ordering new hardware and replacement devices

  • Managing device inventory of parts and accessories

  • Documenting systems, processes, and procedures

  • Maintaining privacy of all client data

  • Helping manage and support company cyber-security posture and patching schedule

  • Independently researching solutions for problematic issues

  • Effectively demonstrating and communicating techniques when cross-training teammates

  • Maintaining a clean appearance and workspace

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or associate degree and/or related industry certifications with minimum of 3 years professional experience in a related field.

  • Proficiency with a wide range of devices to include, but not limited to, Apple iPhones, Apple iPads, Apple iOS, Android and Windows OS.

  • Customer Service experience

  • Must have experience in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Office 2013, 2016 and O365

  • Experience with Verizon Business Portal a plus.

  • Experience using Mobile Device Management platforms

  • High proficiency configuring and troubleshooting current Windows OS

  • Knowledge of Dell or Hewlett Packard business portals a plus

  • Experience using FedEx or UPS shipping managers a plus

  • Knowledge of cyber-security best practices and patching

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Must be comfortable working in a team environment and leverage the skills of other team members

  • Excellent Communication Skills, Organizational Skills, and Interpersonal Skills
