Position:  Digital Marketing Coordinator
Location: Des Moines, IA 50392
Term: 12 Months Contract


Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
 

  • Assist the marketing team with website publishing, maintenance of digital properties, and coordinate development of digital campaign assets
  • Work in a collaborative environment, gain valuable skills and help our customers along the way
  • Publish website content on various platforms
  • Design prototypes and code website updates to promote retirement content and increase audience engagement
  • Adhere to brand guidelines, site standards, and best practices of UI/UX to deliver creative content and achieve business goals
  • Assist with Search Engine Optimization
  • Utilizes analytics and reporting to evaluate performance on digital experiences and provide recommendations
  • Complete other tasks and project work as needed 


Is this a good fit? (Requirements):
 

  • 2+ years experience in or completed degree in an IT, design or marketing (or similar)
  • Strong organizational, attention to detail, and prioritization skills
  • Creative thought process
  • Interest in Web User
  • Experience with HTML/CSS, Drupal, WordPress or similar tools (highly preferred)
  • Experience working with Adobe Creative suite and/or other web and digital marketing software, such as Google Analytics, SEO and SEM tools (highly preferred)


Preferred Skills:
 

  • Experience with working on web publishing or website design
  • Requires a college degree or equivalent.
  • Must have good analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
  • Requires good verbal and written communications skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships 
  • Experience with working on web publishing or website design
  • Experience with HTML/CSS, Drupal, WordPress or similar tools (highly preferred)
  • Experience working with Adobe Creative suite (highly preferred)
  • Experience with Analytics, SEO and SEM tools (highly preferred)
  • Requires ability to understand marketing strategies and systems
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Access 
  • Must be adaptable and flexible


Nice to Have Skills:
 

  • Google Analytics, DataStudio, PowerBI experience
  • SEO knowledge of writing, reviewing, optimizing
  • A/B testing of digital properties
