This international industry leader has an immediate full-time opening Downtown Dallas, TX for a Manager, Infrastructure Operations.  For this role they strongly prefer experience with MS Azure virtual data center design.  Will initially be working remotely during COVID, but in the future will be required to work onsite Monday-Friday.  This is a professional dress work environment.  The Manager, Infrastructure Operations will work with Information Services department leadership and personnel, internal business customers, and IT managed service providers to ensure business technology needs and support requirements are met.  The ideal candidate will have a broad technical background as well as experience and success managing technology operations, technology partner relationships and corporate business customer support.

This role doesn't have any direct reports but will be working with multiple internal and external departments.  Requires previous hands-on experience in order to understand the different moving parts.  Open to someone that was previously in a Senior Level Engineer or Architect role that wants to move into a management role, or someone that has worked with a service provider.

Principal Responsibilities include:

•    Management and support of the Global IT infrastructure operations.
•    Ensuring SLAs for vendor services are defined, monitored and reported.
•    Continuous improvement of services to meet changing business needs.
•    Providing technical guidance to technology partners and service providers to ensure alignment is maintained with business needs.
•    Acting as an escalation point for IT requests and incidents.
•    SME and technical stakeholder for global technology projects.
•    Working with business customers to understand their needs and align those needs with services provided by technology partners and service providers.
•    Understanding the business impact of changes and service disruptions and manage appropriately.

•    8 - 10+ years of experience managing and supporting the IT infrastructure operations function for a multi-national or global organization.
•    Azure virtual data center design experience.
•    Bachelor’s degree, Masters of Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
•    Proven experience and demonstrated success in interacting with multiple business functions in a global or multi-national organization.
•    Experience in interacting with and/or managing IT service providers and vendors.
•    Understanding of and experience with enterprise-class cloud workloads in Microsoft Azure. 
•    Expert-level / SME equivalent in managing Microsoft technologies including hybrid domains, Active Directory including Azure AD, Windows Servers and all inherent technologies, and Office 365 applications.
•    Experience with Identity Management and Multi-Factor Authentication tools.
•    Knowledge of networking fundamentals.
•    Superior customer service skills.
•    Must possess strong management, organizational, and teambuilding skills.
•    Proven experience and demonstrated success in interacting with multiple functions and organizations in support of global IT operations.
