Large Oil and Gas company based in Houston is seeking a Mailroom and Scanning Specialist for an administrative role on their team.  This is an onsite role (remote work is not allowed).  This opportunity will start out as a one year contract role with the possibility of converting to a permanent employee.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Open and date stamp all incoming mail, including fax documents, other departments, and documents from Analysts
  • Create tasks and scan requests to place Division Order mail in the Lagniappe workflow queue
  • Scan incoming mail and assign to correct Division Order individual for further workflow
  • Print and assemble Division Order packets for mailing
  • Assist with Special Projects or miscellaneous duties when needed or assigned by Supervisor
  • Work toward continuous improvement of processes by finding efficiencies, making process suggestions, and eliminating the opportunity for error.
  • Records Management - Scan documents for workflow or for filing
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds

REQUIRED SKILLS
  • High School diploma
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products
  • Time Management: Strong competency to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at one time is required
  • Communication: Must possess strong verbal, teamwork, and organizational skills
  • Experience: Previous work experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred
