Long Term Contract Opportunity!
Position: Logistics Analyst
Location: Tacoma, WA 98421-2709
Term: 3 Months (08/24/2021 to 11/20/2021)
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8AM-4PM
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Main interactions within & outside the organization (Key job roles both internally and externally with which the job-holder interacts. Include frequency (daily, weekly, monthly) and nature of interaction)
    • Within the Organization: Internal DC and 3rd-party warehouse teams (daily/weekly), 3rd party repack teams (daily/weekly), Inventory Control Manager/Customization Manager (daily/weekly), Regional Transportation Manager (daily/weekly), Regional Performance Manager (daily/weekly), Customer Service, Warehouse Logistics and Supply Chain Integration Teams (daily/weekly), Delivery Processors (daily/weekly), National Site Inventory Control Teams (daily/weekly), Quality Department (daily/weekly), Finance (weekly/monthly), Corporate Audit Team (annually), National Inventory Team (daily/weekly). All of these key job roles are consulted and aligned at frequencies noted in order to execute the sites’ daily/weekly/monthly objectives and deliver against all site targets to internal and external customers.
    • Outside the Organization: Common carriers (daily/weekly), External Auditors (annually), Overflow Storage Facility Management, Transportation and Warehouse Teams (daily/weekly), Foodbank and Donation customers (daily/weekly).
Is this a good fit? (Requirements):
  • Experience in logistics-related field.
  • Functional knowledge centered around warehousing, transportation, customer service and operations.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills to communicate across all levels of the organization and outside the organization.
  • Analytical skills to interpret reporting/data to drive performance improvement.
  • Strong MS Office skills required (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access).
  • TMS, SAP and WMS experience a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to consistently achieve desired results, manage multiple tasks, set priorities, act decisively and solve problems.
