Overview

The lead User Experience Designer role will lead our omni-channel digital customer experience design strategy and implementation. This is a critical role within our Product team focused on putting our customers first, evangelizing their needs and humanizing their experience throughout Client experiences.

 

Responsibilities

Plan and Conduct User Research

Chart Client journey and guide data driven decision making through research aimed at better understanding customer behavior, goals, motivations, and needs through collecting appropriate qualitative and qualitative data via various methods

Create and maintain user personas

Define information architecture for digital applications and products

Design seamless user flows and wireframes that incorporate complex regulatory and business requirements, and customer journeys as they interact with our products.

Design the aesthetics to be implemented within a website or product, from the layout menus and drop-down options to colors and fonts

Build storyboards to conceptualize designs to accurately convey project plans to stakeholders

Create and maintain prototypes of users who interact with our products

Test products on our users to gather feedback on the usefulness of MVP and other features on the roadmap

Manage, maintain and evolve style guides

Directs the work of other designers to provide cohesive experiences across products and platforms

Adept at leveraging a variety of tools and approaches within the following realms to deliver products:

Discovery and exploration:  card sorting, customer journey maps, experience maps, information architecture, landscape analysis, personas, stakeholder interviews, user lab and remote testing, white boarding, a/b testing

Design and deliverables: interaction designs, visual designs, presentations, prototypes, style guides, user flows, wireframes and comps

Platforms: mobile responsive, IOS and Android

Comp, prototyping and design tools: figma, sketch app, axure, invision studio, Adobe suite of design tools

 

Qualifications

7+ years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UX design

Proficient with visual design programs such as Adobe Photoshop and others

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment to create top-performing interfaces

Continued education and research into UX trends and current design strategy and technologies

Ability to plan, prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently

Account for challenges using problem-solving skills and seek to optimize data for the best possible outcome
