Sr. Tableau Developer

Grow your career as a Lead Tableau Developer with an innovative global bank in Jersey City, NJ. Long-term contract with excellent growth potential. Will be required to work onsite 2-3 days per week.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Manage the deliverables. Coordinate with onshore folks. Prioritize technical issue resolution.
  • Work closely with management to prioritize business needs and stay up to date with the goals of the organization as they evolve. Work with other departments to find new ways to improve opportunities.
  • Requirement gathering & understanding, effort estimation, technical design, project planning and monitoring.
  • Understand and analyze the data to find patterns and valuable business insights.
  • Facilitate change and innovation to legacy systems and processes.
  • Required to review the day-to-day delivery work with the team, ensuring a robust process implementation, identifying project/program delivery risks and work on risk mitigation.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 10+ years of BI experience.
  • Strong knowledge on Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep and Tableau Server.
  • Exposure on Big Data connectivity with Tableau/Qlik.
  • Experience on connecting API with Tableau server.
  • Experience working in Agile projects.
  • Experience in creating functional and technical documents.
  • Strong SQL skills in at least one DB - SQL server, Oracle, etc.
  • Working knowledge on QlikView/Qlik Sense and MicroStrategy.
  • Knowledge of Cloud technology.
  • Knowledge of Python scripting.
  • Knowledge of programming languages – HTML, JavaScript.
