Responsibilities:
  • Work with different stakeholders (Legal, Product, Compliance, etc.) to handle a wide variety of matters including general corporate and contracts matters.
  • Administer, negotiate, as well as track and maintain all Client Negotiated contracts.
  • Responsible for maintaining the entire contract process, partnering with internal departments.
  • Take a primary role in the negotiation of certain contracts and consolidate information relating to those contracts.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree. Paralegal degree is a plus.
  • 2+ years of previous experience as a Paralegal/Contract Administrator in a legal setting.
  • Experience in Financial Services Industry is a Plus.
  • Experience with and ability to negotiate bespoke documentation directly with clients, via extensive contact with clients and their lawyers (including occasional conference calls and meetings).
  • Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of engagement, management and clients, ability to balance multiple projects and responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of contract management software tools is a Plus.
  • Full professional proficiency, both oral and written, in English and Spanish. Portuguese is a plus.
  • Proficient in the use of word processing and other data processing programs, especially Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
