Grow your career as a KYC Operations Lead Analyst with an innovative global bank in Tampa, FL/Miami, FL/New York, NY. Long-term contract with excellent growth potential. Will start working remotely until offices reopen, then will be required to be onsite 2-3 days per week.
  • Perform review and validation of the FinCEN Certification of Beneficial Ownership (B/O) Form to comply with the FinCEN CDD Rule requirements at the time of Account Opening, Periodic Reviews, and other related events.
  • Review KYC records and client documentation in conjunction with the FinCEN Certification form to ensure consistency of information.
  • Provide feedback to Team Leads, Bankers, Associate Bankers, and other related parties where findings are identified to ensure correction and reduce future failure rates.
  • Work closely with Team Leads to provide feedback of continued errors to ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken.
  • Work to comply with business deadlines, supporting Team Leads in timely review of daily cases; and where business deadlines are present, with flexibility of resource and availability.
  • Contribute to the updates regarding the FinCEN CDD BO Quality Program procedures to ensure guidance is up to date.
  • Help define initiatives aimed at raising FinCEN success rates and driving continuous improvement.

  • Keep management aware of the risk and control environment of the business through continuous and open communication.
  • Contribute proactively to calibration sessions across the regions, being active in sharing experiences and proposing best practices or change in approach as appropriate.
  • Partner with Banking Team, KYC QA Team, Account Opening Operations department, and other product partners to ensure efficient and seamless processing and timely response to inquiries.
  • Provide the highest level of customer service and teamwork to Banking teams and other internal partners.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding the company, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
  • Enforce banking policies and procedures to ensure operational integrity while maintaining high client satisfaction.
  • Utilize internal systems to properly support clients and perform responsibilities through proficient use of the following Private Bank platform applications such as One Source, In-View, DMS, WINS, etc.).
  • Perform project management responsibilities, including producing project plans, conducting risk analyses, and providing weekly updates for senior management, as needed.
  • Perform thorough Periodic Reviews of KYC profiles, this may include: Client Information, Ownership Structure, Source of Wealth Corroboration, FinCEN, EDD, Product Profile, and Local Requirements.
  • Conduct research over available internal and external systems, including the internet, to remediate/complete KYC client records and MCA deliverables.
  • Communicate effectively and timely with banking teams and other stakeholder to ensure information is complete/accurate.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and support with various KYC projects as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience in KYC process.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience.
  • Bilingual: English and Spanish. Portuguese is an advantage.
  • Intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Office specially in Word and Excel and ability to learn multiple system applications quickly.
