Terrific 12+ month contract opportunity in Irving, TX for a Senior Java Microservices Developer.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Possesses a high degree of technical competency to design and develop digital applications using cutting-edge tools and technologies
•    Collaborative working with the client's technology and business staff day-to-day
•    Proactive and willing to go above and beyond to satisfy the client and deliver on project goals 
•    Codes, tests, debugs, implements, and documents complex global applications
•    Level of understanding of infrastructure elements
•    Deep understanding of designing for scale
•    Microservice design operating within a bounded context
•    Database principles and Data Architecture/Model
•    Multi-thread vs single thread decision and utilization
•    Memory management in programming language
•    Knowledge of Common Frameworks
•    ORM
•    Knowledge of Basic Algorithms and approaches in optimization of algorithm

•    10+ years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE and Microservices development.

•    Strongly prefer Financial Industry experience, especially Invest/Wealth Domain experience.
•    Experience with Java 8, Angular JS, Spring boot, Responsive Web Design experience.
•    Strongly prefer Invest/Wealth Domain experience.
•    Very strong Web/Responsive and Native mobile development experience.
•    Knowledgeable using tools like Jenkins, Eureka, IBM APIm, AppD, and Splunk.
•    Knowledge of implementing business critical, high volume, and highly available web and mobile applications.
•    Familiar with Bit Bucket for source control.
•    Experience with Behavior Driven Development experience.
•    Must have in cloud-based development experience.
•    Prefer Pivotal Cloud Foundry experience in PaaS environment.
•    Must be collaborative, adaptable, and have good communication skills.
•    Experience working on agile teams.
