Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Employ standards, frameworks and patterns while designing and developing components.
Implement and maintain a suite of Workflow driven, Java application with microservices.
Develop high quality code employing software engineering and testing best practices.
Developing software that processes, persists and distributes data via relational and non-relational technologies.
Hands on coding, authoring unit tests/Junit, performance tests and maintaining high code quality.
Needs to be able to react and provide quick turnaround to business requirements and management requests.
Well versed in Agile Development Life Cycle.

Qualifications:

5-10 years of experience in enterprise Web application development using Java/J2EE technologies.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering.
Strong Coding experience.
Experience in Writing Test cases using Junit or Mockito etc.
Experience in Oracle (PL/SQL),and NoSQL like NoSQL-Mongo, Cassandra.
Experience in implementing Caching technologies Redis.
Should have strong knowledge and hands on experience in JAVA (Version 1.8 or above)/J2EE/Spring boot/microservices/REST/JSON.
Expertise in Server less, tomcat (Embedded/Non-Embedded).
Expertise in Spring, Spring Batch, Spring IOC, Spring AOP, Spring Annotation, Spring Security.
Expertise in mocking, Junit and perf testing of solutions.
Experience in Oracle (PL/SQL),and knowledge in NoSQL like NoSQL-Mongo, Cassandra.
Have working knowledge on Caching technologies Redis and Ignite.
Have working knowledge on Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift.
Experience with CI/CD build pipelines and toolchain – Git, BITBucket, Artifactory, Jira/Confluence/Collaborate.
Should possess basic UNIX/Linux knowledge to be able to write and understand basic shell scripts and basic Unix commands.
Strong design skills on Java/J2EE based solutions with Oracle/Mongo backend.
