Title: IT Worker Life Cycle Specialist
Type: Contract
Location: San Francisco, CA (This is a commutable role, meaning the candidate must be willing and able to commute to the downtown SF office as needed. We anticipate only needing the specialist in-office 1 or 2 days a week, but additional days may be needed on occasion.)
Job Description/Responsibilities
- Onboarding/offboarding queue management, including ticket triage and account provisioning/ deprovisioning
- Facilitation of new hire IT onboarding presentations and working sessions
- Basic hardware and software support for incredibly seasoned to novice users and everything in between
- Shipping and receiving of company assets (computers, chargers, security keys, etc.) out of our San Francisco office, including any needed hardware/software (re)configuration
- Coordinating hardware shipping and receiving for assets managed by vendor partners globally
- Leveraging our asset management tool to ensure inventory accuracy
- Learn, document, and support IT procedures, always keeping a keen eye on opportunities to refine and increase quality and efficiency
- Coordinate with stakeholders (namely IT Procurement, Workplace, and People Operations) to support on and offboarding activities
Qualifications:
- Ability to commute to our San Francisco office
- Technical expertise on OSX, iOS, and Chrome OS operating systems
- Working knowledge of Jira Service Desk, or similar ticketing system
- Entry-level networking knowledge and troubleshooting ability
- Strong attention to detail and strict adherence to compliance standards
- An adaptable, continuous learner, leveraging a growth mindset
- Administration experience with Google for Business, Atlassian, Okta, Jamf, Slack
- Demonstrable troubleshooting methodologies and root cause analysis
- Able to move and setup hardware and peripherals
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Experience working with service and procurement vendors
