Location: Dallas, TX 75201
Term: 12 Months

Description:

The PMO IT Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, management and completion of IT projects. You would use your project management skills to define project deliverables, identify resources, create weekly status reports, facilitate meetings, capture tasks and make project schedule, track project spend and forecast provide reporting structures and ensure projects are delivered with quality while they are completed within budget, on time and in scope. We need your help to drive this project and partner with leadership.
  • A background showing 3-5 years managing multiple ERP, software and/or infrastructure projects covering the below mentioned areas and considered key for this role.
  • Managing a multi-disciplinary team across functional work streams in high matrix organization
  • Proven experience managing implementation projects with task/work responsibility shared across multiple system integrators
  • Proven experience leading ERP, software and/or infrastructure projects and/or business process re-engineering projects
  • Drives project team respectfully and is a go getter that has enjoys presenting and allowing the team to shine.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop schedule in MS Project Online, create weekly presentations in PowerPoint
  • Understands projects and familiar with waterfall and hybrid agile organization
  • Responsible for overall coordination and stability of project oriented work efforts, including working with the team to help frame up requirement and design workshops, the fit/gap analysis process and through project testing and deployment delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations - Also able to communicate effectively with leadership when projects do not go as planned to set expectations when needed
  • Integrate project plans and schedules to create a cohesive plan with identifiable critical path, task dependencies and major milestones
  • Build project budgets and track project expenses
  • Manage risks and issues for project
  • Track project communications, meeting minutes, and major decisions
  • Manages one or more cross-functional projects of medium to high complexity from beginning to end
  • Works on strategic, complex projects that have enterprise-wide impact
  • Maintain professional communication and working relationships with project stakeholders and team members (including C-level business stakeholders)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques
  • Must be a driver that respects the team and partners with leadership
  • Knows how to use MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Possesses knowledge and experience leveraging both IT solutions and business process improvements
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Project Management - 3-5 years required
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in ERP/SAP, software application and/or infrastructure project management
  • Active Project Management Professional PMP certification, or working towards
  • Experience with a formalized PMO structure and PPM tool such as Microsoft Project Online is required
  • Concise and diplomatic communication skills
