What does our team do?

IPV Technology team is building a new application to serve price verification process. The application seeks to build best-in-class capabilities including robust data context and lineage, controls and audit trail, dynamic threshold capabilities using Machine Learning, facilitating independent price calculation for derivatives, as well as high level of automation to ensure reliability in workflow.

What does our Developer do?

  • Experience with Jenkins and code merge familiarity/version control
  • Bash Scripting in both local and shared environments
  • Develop End to End Code Packaging for Price Verification production installs
  • Exposure to U-deploy (UCD) to create snapshots of stable code to be deployed to production environments
  • Identify, Assess and Remediate vulnerabilities within the application tech stack
  • Work with the tech team to create clear throughput to upgrade existing technologies
  • Collaborate with other team members on Agile Sprints
  • Automate existing processes

DevOps (50%)

  • Packaging and distributions using Conda, SetupTools
  • Git /Jenkins/ maven / UnitTest framework
  • PCF and Kubernetes exposure
  • Understanding of Kafka/Rabbit MQ
  • Good understanding of penetration testing and industry best standards alignment
  • Hands on experience with containerization platforms and orchestration (modular based functions/features)

Support development lifecycle (20%)

  • Agile / Scrum experience using JIRA
  • Co-ordination & Providing documentation support for Change & Release management

Angular 8 (20%)

  • AngularJS based front end
    • Currently use Angular 8.2
    • React is an acceptable alternatives
  • Web Development
    • Proficient in TypeScript
    • Build UIs primarily involving grids
    • Time series plots
  • Usability of workflows
    • Analyzing & improving user interaction on workflows
    • Improving UIs to minimize user errors


Other Skills (10%)

  • ETL
    • ETL & processing large data sets using python
    • File processing, normalization, Pandas
  • Python
    • Model template view architecture using frameworks such as Django
    • Web Services and REST APIs
  • Database
    • Understanding of databases – tables & relationships
    • SQL syntax including simple (inner) joins
