This North American Logistics industry leader has an immediate full-time opening in Addison, TX for a Human Resources Business Partner.  Expectations will be to work in the office 2-3 days/week.  Will act as a partner in the design, implementation, and monitoring of various human resources programs. Will be responsible for supporting 8+ operating divisions (1000-1200 nationwide employees) with: HR policies, administration and management of disability and Worker’s Compensation claims, Employee and Labor Relations, Collective Agreements, administration of pension and group benefit plans, general recruitment, Health and Safety and other special projects.

Responsibilities:
-    Foster company culture & value to ensure great working environment, drive employee recognition and assist in organization training and career development and growth;
-    Handle Workers’ Compensation process such as, obtain facts that ensure claims information is complete and accurate. Evaluate and report on all medical and lost time claims regarding payment of temporary total disability benefits, medical bills, and return to work;
-    Ensure appropriate controls are in place and managed effectively for all critical HR processes;
-    Provide project management support for HR-related initiatives being implemented within the organization;
-    Act as the resource person for HR process changes. Analyze data, processes and new trends to make necessary recommendations to management team for continuous improvements;
-    Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local agencies;
-    Must have full cycle multistate HR experience;
-    Evaluate training programs updating presentations as needed to evolve with company standards;
-    Conduct HR investigation/employee relations;
-    Provide timely first-line human resource support to managers and employees regarding functional HR areas;
-    Identify capability gaps in current workforce and set strategy to help address business needs;
-    Identifies and implements processes to improve HR/Business effectiveness such as assisting managers identify and resolve problem issues, coaching managers on employee performance issues, and providing consistent interpretation and application of personnel policies, statutory regulations and laws;
-    Build strong relationships and trust with leaders and colleagues, offer HR expertise and coaching on people issues, assist leaders to gain a better understanding of employees’ needs and career aspirations.

Requirements:
-    5+ years Human Resources Generalist or Business Partner experience supporting various functions within an organization;
-    Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadline;
-    Experience with conducting HR investigation/employee relations
-    Most a positive, engaging culture and dynamic team environment;
-    Must have experience working with human resources or organizational development experience;
-    Must have experience working with human resources principles, practices, and procedures;
-    Experience working with human resources laws and regulations;
-    Good interpersonal skills for working with all employee levels within the organization;
-    Good comprehension skills for understanding needs and concerns and developing and applying solutions;
-    Good organization and time management skills;
-    Strong communication skills;
-    Complex analytical skills;
-    Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality regarding employee information;
-    Ability to work collaboratively across division, functions, and levels.    Assets

Education  
-    Human Resources Management Bachelor’s degree or any other related field.
